INDULGE IN THE FINEST PRODUCE FROM ACROSS THE UK
During the Coronation Festival visitors were able to enjoy morning coffee, afternoon tea or create their own royal hamper whilst experiencing the very best of food and drink from across the UK and beyond. Visitors were not only able to sample the very finest food and drinks but were also able to purchase these items as well as watch experts, chefs and food producers demonstrate their skills on the Tastings and Demonstration stage.
Well known British brands such as Bendicks, Walkers Shortbread and Pimms were exhibiting in the Food & Drink section at the Festival. Alongside these traditional British companies, other exhibitors included The Ritz London, who became the first and only hotel to be awarded the prestigious honour of a Royal Warrant for Banqueting and Catering Services by HRH The Prince of Wales.
First awarded the Royal Warrant by King George III in 1760, Justerini and Brooks displayed their diverse and high-class range of fine wines.
Moreover, Prestat Finest Chocolate and Truffles were adored by the late famed writer Roald Dahl, author of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', who even made them the centre piece of his lascivious novel "My Uncle Oswald". Guests were able to taste one of the UK's finest artisan chocolate makers.
