James White Drinks launches "British Carrot Juice"

James White Drinks are celebrating the launch this summer of their very British Carrot Juice. The carrots for the juice are grown in Cambridgeshire and are pressed and bottled at White's Fruit Farm in rural Suffolk. The result is a drink with an uplifting, vibrant orange colour and a surprisingly sweet flavour.

The vegetable juice market has been growing strongly over the past five years, encouraged by the findings of nutritional research from universities around the world. Research using James White Drinks' "Beet It" beetroot juice has found that it lowers blood pressure and that it boosts the stamina and performance of athletes. "Beet It" is widely used in the sports world – by professional cyclists, rugby and football players and marathon runners, among others.

Carrot juice is rich in vitamins and minerals and is an important source of dietary beta-carotene. "Carrot juice is yet to gain popularity in the UK, but we feel there's a definite gap in the market for a new, tasty and refreshing vegetable juice. We're hoping our British Carrot Juice will fill that gap and help to showcase all that is great about the "made in Britain" brand," Lawrence Mallinson, Managing Director of James White Drinks.
