Garrard & Co Ltd
Style, Pursuits & Pastimes
The legacy of the oldest jewellery house in the world began in 1735, in a workshop on London's Panton Street. The international house, today known as Garrard, received a commission from Frederick, Prince of Wales, and became firmly established amongst Royalty and the nobility for outstanding British craftsmanship and design.
In 1843, Garrard was granted the prestigious title 'Crown Jeweller' by Queen Victoria and, in turn, became the most sought after goldsmith for timeless jewellery and elaborate silverware by the British establishment. International dignitaries, visiting Queen Victoria, turned to Garrard for gifts and mementoes, thus spreading the expertise of Garrard designers and craftsmen further around the world.
By 1911, Garrard moved to the Albemarle Street location, which it still resides in today, and is renowned worldwide for beautiful jewellery, Royal regalia, sporting trophies and government decorations and medals.
Garrard remains at the forefront with beautiful jewellery inspired from our heritage and handcrafted, in our workshops, to the utmost quality with hand-picked diamonds and gemstones sourced from around the world.
