Jeroboams
Fine Food & Drink
Founded in 1985, Jeroboams quickly established itself as one of London's leading retailers of British and European cheeses. The cheeses are complemented by a range of other fine foods and a wide selection of wines and Champagnes.
Jeroboams is one of very few affineurs in the country. Before being offered for sale, all the individually sourced artisan cheeses are matured and ripened in specialist cellars by a team of experts until they are in peak condition.
In 1999, in order to increase wine sales, Jeroboams acquired Laytons Wine Merchants, rebranding its retail outlets as Jeroboams. This was followed by the acquisition of Mr Christian's delicatessen of Notting Hill four years later.
The 2004 acquisition of wine merchants La Réserve brought with it London's original specialist whisky retailer, Milroy's of Soho. Offering over 700 whiskies from around the world, including all of Scotland's operating - and many closed - distilleries, visitors to the shop will also find over 300 malts available for tasting.
Jeroboams, now with shops in London's Belgravia, Knightsbridge, Hampstead, Holland Park, Mayfair and Notting Hill, was proud to receive the Royal Warrant from HRH The Prince of Wales in 1997.
