Donald Russell started as a collaboration between an Aberdeenshire farmer and a master butcher, so we have always understood the importance of both natural rearing methods and traditional butchery skills in producing the finest meat.

We originally supplied our gourmet grass-fed beef and lamb to some of the most prestigious hotels and restaurants around the world. Then chefs started asking if they could get our traditionally matured meat in cuts suitable for their own homes, and the business grew in a new direction. Now, as well as to our friends in the restaurant trade, we deliver our finest quality beef, lamb, pork, game, poultry, fish and more, to homes the length and breadth of the UK and beyond.
