Thomas Fattorini Ltd

Style, Pursuits & Pastimes

Thomas Fattorini Ltd. Silversmiths, Goldsmiths and Insignia makers, is a family business that was established in 1827 in the market town of Skipton, North Yorkshire. From their jewellery shops they supplied barometers, clocks, fob-watches, silverware and other typical fancy goods. By the early 20th Century, they established a factory in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter to take advantage of the strong demand for medals, badges and trophies driven by events such as the 1911 Coronation of King George V and Queen Mary.

Over 35 years ago, the company began making a range of Orders and Decorations for investitures, and in 2008 the company was granted a Royal Warrant as Manufacturer of Insignia, Honours and Awards to Her Majesty.

Today the company also designs and manufactures ceremonial swords, civic insignia, medals, trophies and awards. They also have a dedicated factory in Manchester for the design and manufacture of quality name badges which they pioneered in the 1960's.

Together with their design expertise, the company retains their traditional craft skills such as enamelling, silversmithing and polishing, and blends these with modern manufacturing techniques so that they can provide the best quality products.

Thomas Fattorini products are exported throughout the world.
