Gieves & Hawkes
Style, Pursuits & Pastimes
Established in 1785 and 1771 respectively, Gieves & Hawkes are internationally recognised as the purveyors of quintessential English style. Born of an initial meeting with HRH George III in the late eighteenth century, Gieves & Hawkes has had the privilege and honour of dressing every subsequent reigning British monarch and currently holds all three Royal Warrants, by appointment to Her Majesty The Queen, His Royal Highness, The Duke of Edinburgh and His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales.
At its headquarters at No 1 Savile Row, Gieves & Hawkes crafts bespoke garments for international Heads of State and leaders of industry, finance and commerce. The accompanying 'ready to wear' collection of elegant British tailoring champions quality, style and comfort in equal measure.
Echoing the firm's involvement in the Great Exhibition of 1851, Gieves & Hawkes are delighted to be participating in the Coronation Festival of 2013. In the centenary year of Hawkes arrival at No 1, Savile Row, the stand will bring to life the long-standing relationship between Gieves & Hawkes and the court of St James's.
The directors and officers of the company, invite you to join us for a walk through over 450 years of combined tailoring history. A small collection of limited edition commemorative items will be available for purchase.
