Bendicks, world famous for their unique Bittermint, are proud of their reputation as the finest producer of After Dinner Mint Chocolates. The business was founded in 1930 by Mr Oscar Benson and Colonel Dickson in Kensington, London. The following year Lucia Benson, Mr Benson's sister-in-law, created the renowned Bittermint recipe using 95% cocoa chocolate and intense mint oil. The same recipe that is still used today.
In 1962, Bendicks Royal patronage was officially recognised with a Royal Warrant: "By Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen". As proud holders of the Royal Warrant for 50 years, Bendicks is delighted to be participating at the Coronation Festival.
