DAKS
Style, Pursuits & Pastimes
DAKS boasts a heritage dating back to 1894, when Simeon Simpson set up a bespoke tailoring business on Middlesex Street in London.
Today the company has a flagship store in Old Bond Street, is proud to hold three Royal Warrants, and is recognised as a quintessential luxury brand. 2012 marked 50 years since the company received the Royal Warrant from HM The Queen.
DAKS specialises in fine tailoring and accessories for men and women. It is renowned for its House Check, first introduced in 1976. Worldwide, DAKS is exported to more than 30 countries and sold in more than 2,000 shops, major stores and concessions. The company has a strong reputation in the Far East markets, having been sold under license in Japan for more than 30 years, and has become the number one non-domestic brand in Korea.
DAKS is proud to be part of The Buckingham Palace Coronation Festival and has a bespoke presence at the event. Elements of the rich DAKS archive will be exclusively on display as well as an opportunity to purchase DAKS quality products, many of which have been uniquely designed for the Festival.
